CONGRATULATIONS to our U13B 'South' Knights

Yet another success story and trophy for the Oak Ridges Soccer Club, as the U13B Knights posted a series of victories in the Lake Simcoe Invitational tournament the weekend of June 20-21, 2009.

Our U11B made it to the semi-finals without conceding a goal, losing out on Sunday to penalty kicks.

Go Knights Go!

Friendly reminder...

The Oak Ridges Soccer Club is respectfully requesting that all parents and visitors to please refrain from smoking near the fields, especially close to the sidelines.

Together we can promote a healthy and safe environment for everyone's enjoyment.

Thank You for your co-operation

* Photo ReTake Day *

Attention Coaches, Parents and Players

Photo Re-Take Day has been scheduled for Saturday July 11th at Pine Farm Park from 9am-1pm.

Photos will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. In case of rain, the location will change to Lake Wilcox Community Centre.

Please email the Club office at info@oakridgessoccer.com and add 'Alternate Photo Day' in the subject line. Your request will be added to a list of players to be contacted.

PLAYER EQUIPMENT

Absolutely NO JEWELRY is allowed, except for medical reasons.
All players must wear soccer shoes and shin pads.

Please note Shin pads should be worn inside socks.
All players should have received a uniform (jersey, shorts and socks),
Club T shirt and Club Soccer Ball.

Please bring your soccer ball to all games.

PARENTS AND COACHES

Parents and Coaches involved in House League Divisions
U7 and older are  asked to adhere to the Club rule that states that all parents are to sit on the opposite side of the field from
the Coach and the player substitutes.

We also ask that Coaches stay on one side of the centre line
during the game. Ideally, we ask that Coaches create a
'players' bench. Players should be instructed to bring
their beverage to the 'players' bench to avoid running
to parents or  having parents come to the opposite side
of the field during the game.

On July 4th a 'special' referee clinic will be held for coaches, parents and volunteers by our Head Referee.

This will be an open session to answer questions about the Laws of the Game, some simple examples of "tooting", and what happens when you are called upon to help includes a whistle!

Referee Clinic Time: 9:30am - 10:30am
(We'll be at the same place as the clinics below)
