Referee Latest News

House League is now finished. Where has the summer gone? The Trophy Weekend was a grand success, and all that's left over are a series of YRSL Rep and Recreational games, including make-up games...
If you do not have any further games assigned for September, please submit your August summaries (and outstanding July gamesheets). September's cheque might be a little late due to calculations for referee course fees (depending on your active participation throughout the summer!)...
NOTE: We now have a mailbox available at the front door. This will make it easier to drop off your sheets and summary.

01-Sep: September's schedule has been updated. Click HERE to review.

I will verify your games as quickly as possible, and have cheques ready by the 15th of July. Drop your package at the club office (see main page for address and hours of operation). We're looking at a mailbox so that your can drop your sheets off at any time without the office being open.

Please visit the OSA website, under Referee Development, for other available courses throughout the York Region area.

2-Mar: *UPDATED*
Added information for the two scheduled OSA courses being held in Oak Ridges, plus scheduled the pre-clinics in preparing NEW refs for the 2010 season, as well as a session to 'refresh' the returning referees. Bring ALL of your questions to the scheduled sessions (see below).
18-Jan: Oak Ridges Soccer Club is also looking for a Head Referee to assume responsibilities for developing and mentoring new referees for the summer soccer season, as well as scheduling/assignment of games. This is a paid position, and requires someone with a passion and commitment to the Oak Ridges Soccer Club. If you are interested, come "toot" your whistle and let me know.

Happy tooting!!
